Does anyone eat lite/low carb bread?
If so does it go bad quickly?
I bought a low carb/lite bread and a couple of days before the date it started to have white spots which I assume is the start of mold.
Bought another brand one went to use it today again white spots on them. The date on the bread is May 30th??!!
Why is the bread going bad so fast?
My regular loafs of bread usually last past the date on the bag!!
Should i be doing something with low carb/lite bread. Lol yes I know first world problems but it’s annoying me!

People find it weird, but I keep my bread in the fridge to avoid mold. It lasts so much longer.
Aldi's has a zero net carb bread that's pretty good.

Thank you! I will look into that brand . This is what I think I will have I start doing. Freezing it right away. Or I was also thinking maybe I should keep it in the fridge maybe that would help it from going bad so quickly!

I like the Schmidt's 647 bread. I freeze it, then on Monday take out what is needed for the week and keep it in the fridge. If I'm not going to toast the bread, then the morning I am going to use it for lunch I will put it on the counter to bring it back to room temp.

It is found in the freezer section of the store, except in Trader Joes.

This one is very good Found at Costco and now Stop and Shop and Lidl carry it. Its not for true keto eaters but it's low net carbs due to the fiber Tastes like regular old bread too It keeps long for me- but I do refrigerate it

Yes this is the brand i just got that started to mold 4 days before the date on package!
It does taste just like bread to me also.
I will try refrigerating it to see if they last longer.
If that doesn’t work I’ll just start to freeze it.
Unless of course I am just wrong about it starting to mold but I don’t know what else white spots would be lol.

Yeah we get the 2 pack in Costco and usually just leave it in the fridge and it lasts a long time- no mold. Sometimes we'll freeze the second loaf but most of the time we just throw it in the fridge with no issues

i haven't bought many low/no carb breads, but i have made my own and i do store it in the fridge or freezer to keep it from getting moldy too quickly.
