Optimum 1 gig fiber internet?
I wouldn’t bother. I’d see if you can get Fios Gig instead. It’s flawless. Optimum sucks and they are so behind in everything and their prices blow, especially with all the constant intermittent issues.

I'm out east so FIOS is not available and will never be available here.
