vaccine and Regretted
Has anyone that has gotten the vaccine and regretted it? If so, why?

Re: vaccine and Regretted
Not me but my sister regrets getting hers. She had no side effects or issues with it but as time goes by and people who are vaccinated are getting sick, she has mentioned multiple times she wishes she would have never gotten it or maybe waited a little longer.
She will most likely not get a booster if and when the time comes. She also doesn’t get the flu shot. She got the Covid vaccine thinking she’d be protecting my 82 yr old mother and her son who has asthma and feels duped

Re: vaccine and Regretted
Zero regrets.
I do not feel duped. I understand that a vaccine against a virus like this or the flu is never 100%. I also understand that this is by NO means the end of Covid, that we'll like be taking this vaccine forever, just like the flu vaccine. I'm 100% okay with that.

vaccine and Regretted
I regret it and it is unlikely that I will do it again. I was very sick for 3 days after the second shot and my throat swelled up I had to go to the ER. Beside the throat swelling-my face swelled up too and it was over a week before went back to normal and a rash.
I was only allowed 2 days from work for vaccine side effects I had to take 6 days. So I regret getting the vaccine. I never should have put my body through that. I would hope I would have the choice to not get the vaccine again, if needed. I never had an issue with other vaccines but I have a problem with this one and I have a problem because I did feel like I had no choice to not take it. I did ask my doctor if I could be medically exempt from taking it again and he said it's unlikely b/c my reaction wasn't severe enough!!
So that's my long way of saying -yes I regret it and hope never to take it again.

My only regret is that I waited as long as I did.

That’s scary. Did you ever find out if you were allergic to any ingredients in it? Which shot was it and did you report it?

Nope no real regrets. I do feel that I was pressured into getting it though so we can start living a "normal" live.

Re: vaccine and Regretted
I do not regret it. I had no real side effects.
I felt pressure to get it in order to be able to have some sense of normalcy, not having to quarantine if exposed or when traveling (I got it back when you still had to quarantine after travel), and just generally to have some peace of mind.
Having said that, I do not plan to get a booster. A lot more has come out regarding side effects and until those concerns are addressed more seriously I wouldn't risk it again and I certainly won't vaccinate my kids.

Re: vaccine and Regretted
I have mixed emotions. Definitely regretted getting it because I had very negative side effects to the vaccine and was barely Ill with covid. I probably will not do it again. But at the same time I am glad I am vaccinated because i am able to go see Dave Matthews at Jones beach in September.

Which shot did you get? I just rescheduled mine that I was supposed to get today because I was too nervous about potential side effects.

J&J right before they pulled it off the market. I also had covid so I think I was more susceptible to vaccine side effects.

Re: vaccine and Regretted
It was Moderma. The doctor believes it was one of the preservatives. I was told that the redness I had on my arm from first shot was a mild allergic reaction. It didn’t itch. I didn’t even think about but it flared up after the 2nd shot.

I couldn’t find anything last time I checked a couple weeks ago. If they haven’t yet I doubt they will considering the delta spike.

Oh wow ok. Don’t have anything planned there this year. My friend did just get us tickets to the Killers but that is over a year away.

have been vaccinated since february. have not regretted it once.
i really experienced no side effects to either shot except fatigue and a sore arm. i prepared myself that i would likely feel awful, just so i didn't panic or worry unncessarily.
