What made you happy this week?
It can be anything. You got a raise. You found an open parking spot right next to the building.
One of my Scouts completed his Eagle Scout project last weekend. He's not Eagle yet, but this was one of the biggest, hardest parts of it. When I first met him, he would barely talk to anyone. Now, he's directing people, talking to complete strangers, and becoming an adult and a leader.
This is one of the many reasons I'm a Scout leader.

I'm petsitting my puppy nephew.
My dog is 14 now and pretty much just sleeps all day.
I've been able to have all the craziness and fun since Friday, I love this energy, curiosity and all his silly puppy antics.

I hate summer and scorching heat so the fact that every morning this week has felt like fall makes me so happy!!!  I'm ready for summer to end!!

What made you happy this week?
My daughter and her friends are coming home from college(she works for the school) for the weekend today. I love having the noise, the laughter, and yes, the mess!!

We've got some stray cats in our yard (they bounce between mine and the surrounding yards). About 3 or 4 cats that I've been feeding and they usually run from me, but lately they've been staying and letting me talk to them. I was always a dog person - but these cats made me go and fall in love with them.
I'd love to adopt them all, but my DD and DH are allergic.

We celebrated both of my children's birthdays this week. Their birthdays are 4 days apart so lots of bday celebrations and cake this week!

Walking to work today I saw a very good friend who passed away last year his company's work truck. I always know he's with me and my husband but seeing his company's truck this morning put a smile on my face

One of my orchids seem to be blooming. It struggled for sometime cause I wasn’t caring for it the right way...once a week, I’d put ice cubes over the roots, I did this for like a year! I then learned this is a big no-no, of course I stopped immediately. So seeing it bloom now is making me super happy!

What made me happy this week was having the Best Girls trip in Rhode Island this weekend with three of my girlfriends.
All of us have been friends for over 25+ years and it makes me happy to see us get along and laugh at literally everything including each other!

This week getting a new TV stand in the perfect size at Homegoods made me happy. I've been searching for what I feel like is years to get something to fit in the space I needed in the style I wanted. So yeah, not a super great thing, but made my week!

One of our employees is marrying her high school sweetheart tomorrow. I’m in the bridal party. We have known them since they were teens going to prom. Being there from the beginning of their relationship, through the ups and downs, and now to be there, standing by her side while they marry is heart warming.

It was my cat’s 6th birthday. I usually give him a tuna with a candle in it. He almost lit himself on fire last year, so just one candle. He’s very special to me because the last kitten I had to put to sleep because of a rare kitten disease.
