Definitely my west wing.
My house is the smallest house in the world, so all spots are really the same. If I'm in the livingroom I can hear my DH fart in the furthest bedroom.
I enjoy my yard and pool best.
Sounds like my old house and believe it or not I wish I could move back. The maintenance seems so minimal compared to what we have now. Plus less reason to invite people over.......no space to entertain!
I actually love entertaining and I have had 50 people in and outside my little house lol. People keep coming back so I guess they don't mind. They have even sat on the floor at times.

I like entertaining too but when we bought our ski house I purposely bought a tiny two bedroom condo for the 5 of us so that we couldn't accommodate guests. I have issues saying no to people and I didn't want to end up cleaning up after everyone all weekend long every weekend. And I love that I can clean the whole house, including bathrooms, in under an hour.

Our couch is a pull out but we haven't used it in years as anyone out of town usually stays at a hotel and any kid who stays the night will just lay on the couch lol.
Yes, that is the good thing that I can actually clean the house in a few hours if it is not a deep cleaning. I don't touch my kids rooms for the most part. If I need dishes or utensils or just feel very motivated, I might go in there and clean up. One kid is worse than the other though and always has been. That is the one with ADHD.

Re: Favorite spot in your home?
in my last house, it was the large family room. i had beautiful windows and sky light that made that room a dream. there was also a lovely fire place. it was the best place in the world to watch snow. funny enough, the florida room had windows on three sides and i didn't like it as much as the family room.
in my current home, my most favorite spot is my bedroom. it gives me the closest to an escape as i can get.

Re: Favorite spot in your home?
My house is quite small, so there aren't tons of options lol. The living room is very much my space, and the den is very much DH's space. I've decorated the living room how I like it and have my desk, my keyboard, my bag and shoe rack etc., in it, and DH has turned the den into a sports heaven.
I also like sitting on my tiny porch and on the outdoor sofa.

My spot on the couch. It has my ass print perfectly set in it. I love it when I’m in my comfy pjs, grab my big fleece blanket (my house is set on meat locker) and plop right down. Big soft fluffy cushions and pillows. Then each dog finds their spot in my lap and by my side.
Same here with the A/C. I could keep dead bodies frozen solid in here. LOL I hate to be hot, I like the house ice cold and then like you, cozy up under a blanket.
It’s heaven! There are so many blankets everywhere lol DH is always running hot and these days with my flashes, I welcome the Cold
I am no better in the winter either! lol Our heat is set to 64 during the day and 62 at night. I hate a hot house no matter the season. lol
64/62 degrees is very cold. DH insists on keeping it at 68 degrees and everyone who visits me complains it is too cold.
My favorite room is my kitchen, specifically my kitchen table. I use it to serf the internet, do my office work, homework with the kids. If you need to find me, that is where I am 90% of the time.

So funny as this weekend my girlfriend had her house set at 63 and my husband was like can you believe how low the ac was? Lol. I was trying to make a drink in front of one of the ac’s and it was like being in a freezer.
Honestly the houses I have been in with temps that low are because of the medicines they are on. I have heard many raise your temp so you are always warm,

For sleeping, the colder the better.

I agree, we used to have fights when I worked in an office because the men wanted it at 68 and the women wanted it at 70. I feel like 70 is the universally comfortable temperature for most places. If I went to someone's house and it was 64 degrees and I didn't have a jacket or sweater I would probably leave. I find being cold painful. Like, physically painful. I get that being hot can be uncomfortable but being can cold can hurt!

No, I don't.
If someone knows they get easily cold, especially in AC, they should travel with a sweater. Similarly, because I'm always warm I tend to dress lighter when I go to other people's houses because I know most people keep their homes warmer than mine.

Yeah I wouldn’t bring a sweater in the summer but I would be really uncomfortable in a house at 64 degrees. I would insist on hanging out outside or else I would make a very early exit.

I only bring something when I go to a wedding or catered event in the summer as they always have the air so low.
We were only inside for a short time at the end of the night and in between to make drinks and go to the bathroom. I had shorts on so I probably would have died if I had to stay in there too long lol

I hate to feel warmth. I'd rather the house be cold and then cozy up under a blanket or wear a comfy sweatshirt to stay warm.
For sleeping, the colder the better.
I hate that when people say, oh just put a sweater on. Why would I want to do that when I waited all year long for warmer weather?
I detest warm weather and hate a hot house. Counting the days until fall.
Do you tell new friends before they come to your house that it's that cold and they should bring a sweater?
No, I don't.
If someone knows they get easily cold, especially in AC, they should travel with a sweater. Similarly, because I'm always warm I tend to dress lighter when I go to other people's houses because I know most people keep their homes warmer than mine.
How would they know to bring one of you don’t alert them? I can see like a catering hall but someone’s home? I would never think to take something in the middle of the summer.
Yeah I wouldn’t bring a sweater in the summer but I would be really uncomfortable in a house at 64 degrees. I would insist on hanging out outside or else I would make a very early exit.
I'd be super uncomfortable in a house with an AC set in the 70s. Nobody will ever make everyone happy.

Very true. You would sweat in my house. My living room one is 70/71 as it can get very cold. Bedroom which is smaller is 69/70. Only one kid has an ac and it has no number but it is like the Tundra in there many days lol
