Does this exist?
I'm looking for something I'm not sure exists. My son is 18 and started community college. He is a heavy sleeper but most times gets up to his alarm. Occasionally he doesn't and I'm looking for an alarm I can set off from my phone that might wake him. I sometimes try to call and he doesn't hear it.
It's dumb, I know he should be doing this on his own. But I also don't want him to fail a class because he's a rock hard sleeper.

Re: Does this exist?
I'm not sure, but I'm wondering if this is something you can do via an Amazon Echo device- like if you have the app on your phone if you can set off an alarm via the Echo- he'd need to have it in his room. Not sure if this can be done, because I really don't' use my Echo to it's full capacity. But maybe look into that as an option

Get this for him. It rolls around on the floor and gets louder and louder. If he doesn’t wake up from that, I’d be really surprised.

Re: Does this exist?
Search for "deaf alarm clock". There are various methods for waking up someone who cannot hear. Vibrating the bed, super loud alarms, vibrating watch, high intensity flashing lights, etc.

Thank you, I will look into these. We do have an Echo and I hadn't thought of that.

I've also heard of an alarm that you have to solve a math problem for it to turn off. It's not a super hard question but it's hard enough that your brain has to wake up to process.

I do manage the Echo in my son's rooms through the app on my phone. I can set, cancel and pretty much manage any alarms from there. HOWEVER, my 14 year old is like your son and NO alarm wakes him up. A freight train could come through his room and he wouldn't wake up. I'm at a loss with what to do with him too. His alarms are set so loud that they wake the whole house up and he sleeps right through them. My other son is 10 and pops up like a jack in the box as soon as his alarm goes off, gets dressed and comes downstairs for breakfast. LOL
