January moms...do you exist or am I all alone?

There are 28 names on the expecting list under January. At least 5 of them have no posts at all, 2 or 3 haven't posted since the summertime and Octoberbride has gone and made herself a December mom.. And I know all this because I'm bored enough to look through every name on that list. I feel like I'm the only one on here!!

So, January moms.. if you DO exist have you packed yet? Are you ready? Is stuff put together? Do you have pediatricians, etc. etc. Check in!

And if you don't exist then I'm just going to have to crash the February thread (but please God don't make me a February mom -- that's too far away!)

I am still here. I am packed and the nursery is ready. I have a pediatrician but I am not interviewing them. They were recommended by my SIL. Just waiting for the little bean to arrive!

I exist...I am technically a January mom to be, due January 20th!!!
It does seem I may go early though but who knows, my pregnancy has just been a whirlwind of bizarre things happening!! I feel pretty much set, his room is mostly done, I need a few more things from babies r us and may make a run there today.
I have my hospital bag about 75% packed, still missing a few things--although when I read what some people pack, I think I need to add al ot more!!
I found my pediatrician a few weeks ago but have to be honest, I only interviewed two and liked the second one so we'll see. The way I look at it is I can awlays change it later if I'm not happy but they seemed to share many of the same philosophies as me.
I have my first "internal" next week and am so curious as to what is hapening if anything. I am feeling miserable, I have so many aches, pains, lack of sleep and just unhappiness right now about my large size, I cannot wait for this baby to come. They have told me my baby is also very large, he was 7 pounds at 34 weeks, I'm also stressed about that as I may end up with a c section. I jsut want the next few weeks to fly by.....what about you??? Where are you with things????

nursery = pretty much ready
hospital bag = not packed
pediatrician = have one
dilated = appt yesterday and nope!
baby measurement = 5lb 13oz (as of last friday)

i'm a january mommy--january 29th! i don't have diddly ready for this little girl!

we currently live in a one bedroom apartment and are moving into our house in march, so i can't really work on a nursery. i should start looking into pediatricians huh? and i'll probably pack my hospital bag at around 38 weeks.

I'm here!! Five more weeks to go! The nursery is NOT done (Behr's is delivering the furniture the 28th) and I still have to find a ped. My due date is Jan 22nd but as of my last appointment my DR said she will not let me go past it because I have GD.

Still working and am so tired of it at this point! I've been having Braxton Hicks and my back as of last week has been killing me. Oh and don't get me started on the heartburn I am definetly ready for to come out.

Yay!!

I'm due January 20. The nursery is set up but none of her clothes are washed. Just her sheets, towels, bibs and blankets, and we haven't put any of the gear together like the stroller or the swing.

I have 2 appointments to meet with pediatricians - one next week and one in January. Hopefully I'll like one of them because I just don't have the energy anymore.

I haven't packed anything. I've been thinking about it, but I'm looking for nursing pajamas and I can't find anything that's not overpriced. I have a hard time spending $$$ on myself when I haven't even STARTED my christmas shopping yet!

And I'm working up until the bitter end so I hope this baby comes a little early because every day it gets harder to get out of bed.

I'm here...due Jan 20th as well.

We have the nursery set up and some of the clothes washed (although we found out we had fleas in our apt and had the exterminator come in so we will have to rewash everything)

I am 95% done packing my hospital bag. I just realized yesterday that I packed PJ pants and no shirts to go with them. And I want to find flip flops for the shower.

We have not looked into pediatricians yet. We have some in mind, but we are trying to find out info about Child Health Plus because the insurance through my husband is sooooooo expensive. Once I get that finalized (which will hopefully be soon), we will pick a pediatrician.

I'm working until the last possible minute. Every day it takes me a little longer to get going in the morning. I force myself to get out of bed everyday and go to work because I don't have any sick days left, but come January when my days start over it's going to be really difficult to get up and going.

I am here. I am due 1/29. The nursery is not quite put together yet. The furniture will be delivered next week. Haven't packed yet. I figure I'll wait until the beginning of January to do that. I just had my baby shower last week so we are in the process of putting everything together

I'm here too...due the 21st. I have the nursery almost done, just have to put up the curtains. I washed most of the clothes already at least all of the 0-3 months stuff and my pjs for the hospital. Its just a matter of me putting my stuff together in the actual bag for the hospital.
Today, I just made two appts for pediatrician meet and greets one for next wk. monday and one for January. I feel so behind!!!
As far as work I'm due the 21st I anticipate the 11th as my last day. I feel like I drag into work each morning. Its definately getting hard to get up or even just sleep!!

hi! i'm due Jan 28. i just got back from the Dr and baby is already 6 lbs!!!! She has dropped quite a bit too, so i have a good chance of going early Her room is all painted, mom is superstitious so furniture won't be delivered til she's born and clothes will be washed then too. i haven't packed my bag. i found a pediatrician and today was my last day of work... yay!

hey there, I am a January mom too. I am on here all the time. Especially when work is slow .
I have all the baby's clothes washed, folded and put away. I am setting up the co-sleeper this weekend to get my furbaby (doggie) used to it before the baby comes home. And we are taking out the car seat and pack and play this weekend so it can air out. Nothing worse then the funky packing smell.
I have not packed my bag yet but I have time.
I have a pediatrician. It is the same one I went to when I was younger. So it was an easy choice.
I am due January 15th but have and induction date of Jan. 2nd. My body is still holding firm and I haven't even started to dilate. I bought EPO today to help soften things up down there to make the induction easier. So in 18 days I have my baby .

I'm a Jan mom also, 1/27. I've been so busy at work trying to get everything done before my maternity leave. We also sold our house in NY and bought one in Williamsburg, VA last month. I've been down there 2x this month trying to get the house and nursery ready, so I feel like I have a lot left to do here. We will be moving to VA when the baby is 2 weeks old.
crazy... Anyway, I still feel pretty good, just tired a lot. No, my bag isn't packed, probably in 2 weeks or so.
I don't need a Pediatrician here, so that's one less thing to do.
I'm so excited though, this is my 1st...
Time is going so fast, especially with the holidays coming, an I plan on working until the end.
I just wanted to share a few pics, the nursery isn't 100% complete, but almost there. Most of my stuff from the shower is here in NY, but nursery is in VA. Good luck to everyone with the rest of your planning.

I'm still here due 1/17. I don't post often but on the board all the time. I have the nursery 90% done and my bag is all packed except for the baby stuff. I'm using the same ped. that I use for DD. I "think" my shower is a week from today....we'll see....I might be wrong it's suppose to be a surprise.
the baby's head is down, weighing 5lb3oz (as of yesturday) cramping and having braxton hicks and my cervix is soft...whatever that means.

i am here too., but am not always on the boards either as i am chasing my 19 month old son around.

due january 15th, but would do anything to be early. go to the doc next week so hopefully i am dilated or cervix is soft.

everything is done for the new baby. still have to pack my hospital bag.

I am a January Mom- due on 1/28. I am new to LIF.

I will be 34 weeks tomorrow, and I feel like there is so much to do. Our nursery is painted and we have furniture, but DH has not put together the crib yet.
We have the co-sleeper though.

I picked out my pediatrician, and my hospital bag is halfway packed.

I alternate between running around like a crazy person constantly doing things, to barely being able to get off the couch..

I'm at Jan mom too, due on 1/2! Only 2.5 weeks away! We are in the midst of moving (only 10 minutes from where we are now) and don't know if we'll get much done this weekend with xmas, etc... The bassinet is here with us at the apt in case I go early. The nursery isn't done yet, but baby will be in our room at first anyway. I'm trying not to stress, but i'd like to be moved in before the little nugget gets here.

I am here! I am technically due Jan 10th but I am being induced on the 4th-which is right around the corner
I finally stopped work-I couldn't be on my feet for 13 hours anymore and the overnights were killing me.
We are almost done with the major construction on our house (we added a basement and a great room, all new floors).
I have nothing set up in the baby's room yet but at least he'll be in our room for the first few months so we can tackle that next.
I have my first internal this afternoon. I have been feeling relatively good this entire pregnancy just a lot of pressure down below now.
I think i'm too scared to post a belly pic though-my tummy is huge!!!
