They took him someplace with the camper and left him. They were gone for 3 days. He is no way in that reserve.

I think he is probably in that reserve somewhere. The FBI is involved and it seems they are spending an incredible amount of money and manpower looking for him (underwater divers, dogs, etc). If they didn't have a really strong case to believe he is there I do not think they'd be searching so fervently for him.

Sometimes I think that we give government agencies more credit than they are due. Didn't someone else come forward and say that it was them on the deer cam? If the deer cam wasn't him and the family was gone with that camper, he's gone. I would think they will find him at some point but it could be a while.

Exactly. Why people believe our agencies know more than the public is beyond me.

It's totally a wild goose chase. He is gone someplace and they went to go see a lawyer in Orlando yesterday to handle this case now Even
the lawyers statement makes no sense, like he knows he is alive.

Of course they know more than the public. They have training and resources - it's their job. It's what they do. If they don't know more than the public, than why have any investigative law enforcement agencies at all? They are very selective with the in information they share. That doesn't mean they don't have more knowledge. I'm sure there is a ton of electronic and forensic evidence that you or I will never know about.

I think they have some more evidence, of course, but why they focused so much time and energy on this nature preserve when he is clearly not there is beyond me. I highly doubt they knew about the trailer being removed much sooner than we did. The problem is that the media is all over this and they are questioning anyone and everyone and frankly the media as a whole has a lot more resources than the FBI. So the FBI will have information like cell phone records and access to CCTV footage but not a whole lot more. The family had a lot of time to think about how and where he was going to hide. He had help and now we know he made significant ATM withdrawals. And the fact that the FBI can't find him with all of the technology that is available to them is kind of a joke.

I'm not saying they are infallible, but they have reasons for doing what they are doing - reasons that the public has no knowledge of.

and yes, I believe his family helped him escape - seems like the most plausible thing to me. But for whatever reason, law enforcement seems to believe otherwise. But, I also wouldn't be surprised that there are other seraches and investigations going on, other than that preserve. Ones that we have not been made aware of. One search doesn't preclude others. I'm sure there are at least several leads they are following.

They could also be making a huge deal about this search to make him think he's escaped.

I do feel bad for anyone who looks remotely like him though - there are people having sightings everywhere (although the deer cam one looked like it was a true possibility).

Could be, but I think if they had much more specific information they would have him by now. you have to give him credit though. It's not that easy to hide when the entire country is looking for you. And if he grows his hair out and grows a goatee or some sort of facial hair, maybe dyes it, it will probably be relatively easy for him to hide in plain sight for a while. There are so many things you can do to make yourself unrecognizable. Honestly he could even dress as a woman.

Lululu said that and I agreed as look who found her. The public.

Agencies and government don't ALWAYS know everything more than anyone else. They screw up too.
