Butterball turkeys
Has anyone seen frozen butterball turkeys over 11 lbs? I went to 4 stores today. All 10lb ish. They were practically little chickens!
I went to 2 shoprites, bayshore BJs and stop and shop in islip - all the same.
I’m looking for 18lb or up. I’ve never done the store brand, but if I have to, I will. Creature of habit w the butterball!
FOUND!!! Levittown BJs had over 20lbers

Butterball turkeys
I haven’t looked closely but I did see something (or maybe heard it on the news) that the smaller Butterballs are harder to find because the turkeys stayed on the farm longer than usual and got bigger.

Re: Butterball turkeys
I was in Aldi in North Babylon last week and I noticed they had them. I didn't take note of the size but they looked big to me.

Well that reporter didn’t check all of Long Island lol I couldn’t believe how tiny hey were. I was contemplating getting 2 and see if they would fit next to each other in my roasting Pan.

Re: Butterball turkeys
My last company used to give out Norbest's and they were the best besides Butterball. I haven't tried to look for Turkeys this year so not sure what is out there.
Good Luck

Norbest are the BEST turkeys!!!! I make them every year for Thanksgiving. DH's former company use to give them out as well but you can always find them at Giunta's Meat Market.
