Saliva test
Does anyone know where I can get a saliva test? Or maybe a cheek swab? My kids class was quarantined and now my 4 year old has to test to return to school but is traumatized from the last time (this is the 3rd quarantine). We’re in Suffolk but willing to travel a bit to get this done. I’m hoping to get it done through insurance not out of pocket if possible. Thanks!!

The town of Oyster Bay is doing it in a few locations. I think it’s just for residents but worth a shot. My son is also terrified of the nasal swab so I totally get it. I don’t know why the saliva is not more widely available.

I think facilities associated with Mount Sinai are doing saliva tests. I'm not 100% on that though.
