Tennessee with Kids
Clearly I am not good at planning trips
Going to Nashville Tennessee with my kids for a comp. we are looking to extend the say and make it a vacation since we have never been.
everyone tells me its great to visit but not what I can actually do with kids!!
I heard to may be to go to pigeon forge but i was just looking at the map I think it might be pretty far from Nashville (I thought it was only about 2 hours away but looks like its further away)
if anyone has been there with kids can you let me know if its worth extending the trip or should we just come home?

Re: Tennessee with Kids
Pigeon Forge has a bunch of fun hotels with over the top indoor water park amenities and kid-friendly attractions like you’d find in Myrtle Beach or Orlando (Dollyworld LOL). We continued on to Gaitlinburg for a few more days and although it was cheesy-touristy we had enough to do with some easy hiking and seeing bears.

Tennessee with Kids
We moved to Nashville a few years ago and there are few places my kids like to go. The Frist Art Museum has a little hands on art center which is fun. There is the Nashville zoo, adventure science center, the Parthenon and Gaylord Opryland resort which has different activities depending on when you are visiting. Whatever you decide, hope you enjoy the trip.
