Car service to JFK
Any recommendations for a reliable and reasonably priced car service to go to JFK (from Hicksville) ?
The service I’ve used in the past has quoted me over $170 (one way)

Yes I used to use a service but now I just schedule uber in advance. much cheaper.

If you are going to set up an Uber account, you might as well set up a LYFT account too. Compare the prices. Sometimes LYFT gives better promos. Also, I find the LYFT app less frustrating to deal with.

Another option is take the LIRR to Jamaica and get on the Air Train. Super easy

Driving to long term and parking then taking Air train comes out cheaper sometimes plus less hassle depending on car service or train.

I agree, depending on where you are coming from but leave yourself an extra 45 minutes if you go this route. There are times where I just missed the train and I had to wait 15/20 minutes for the next one.

Thanks for all of your advice.
We were all set for our first Uber ride tomorrow morning and then I got sick.
We had to cancel everything. Such is life

A little late but…..Thank you for the good wishes, everyone is well and we are attempting to Uber it for the first time tomorrow morning

We park our car at SafePark. I paid $150 for a week, and there is a shuttle that brings you to the airport. It is about a mile and a half away and so convenient if you dont mind driving in.
