still sad today. A few weeks ago I went to shoprite. I was going to pay by credit card. The total came to $9.11. I said to the cashier, I can't but that number on my CC and paid cash.

I read this every year. Maybe not the day of, because sometimes I just emotionally can't. Great reminder of the miracles around us

I was teary today watching TV. Many of those who died would be in their 40's and early 50's. Sad

Yup.
It's the families that never were that break my heart. The guys who were in their mid 20's who today should be coaching little league for their kids or cheering on their kids at a soccer game. The older men and women who never got to see grandchildren.

This popped into my head today and I came here to read it. I’m so glad it’s still being bumped. Does anyone know the OP? I wonder if she realizes her story is still being shared every year- I’m sure it would make her happy. Her son is a grown adult now!
