Re: My Gym Membership is up, what should I do...
I guess it is doable, but I have never lost 10 lbs in a month. I think it really depends on how much you need to lose--the more you weigh, the easier it is to lose quickly.
Unless you want to do a diet like atkins or something, just lowering calories for 3 weeks while working out probably won't result in 10 lbs.
Walking is good, but you would have to walk hilly areas. Walking on even ground does not do much for the thighs.

wht do you want to get fit for two parties, and thats it?
why don't you join, and then keep it up? walking isn't going to get you very far. your body needs to do different types of exercises regularly if you want to contiunue to loose fat. you can just walk 3-4 four times a week and expect your body to change.

10 lbs in less than a month is not impossible, but walking won't cut it. You'd have to work out pretty hard (weight lifting and cardio) and really watch what you eat in order to lose that much weight that fast.
If you're not good at going to the gym regularly, you could always try some workout videos. Everyone that posts here that has the TransFirmer loves it.
