NSUH Girls on meds
When they order your meds for an IVF cycle, those who had it...
Did they order it all at once?
I just got my meds...they ordered 5 days worth?
I mean call me crazy but Im gonna be stimming for more then 5 days right?
And what about the rest of the meds? The Doxycline and steroid and PIO and HCG?
when do they order that?
I had a ROUGH go of it getting these meds even ordered today, Im not that happy right now.

Donna, I think most clinics do this...I know Cornell does, but I specifically tell my nurse to order me ALL the meds upfront b/c its too stressful otherwise.

thanks for saying that cause I like omg I have to deal with this a few more times? NO WAY.
I had to call there 4 times and get in a fight with the receptionist to get my RX even ordered.
She tells me oh they will call you tommorow...Well tommorow I start so thats too late to order them .
Anyway, On Sunday when I go in I will tell the nurse what happened and why cant they order it all at once. OBVIOUSLY we are gonna do more then 5 freaking days.

Now I always check with Schrafts before they send the order to make sure its everything I need. If not, they call the nurse and up the script .

I got all my meds together - a huige box, enough for almost 2 cycles, but thats becasue they ordered as much as they could from my perscription plan

They always order all my meds up front. Since yours is grant funded I can understand why they wouldnt want to overorder for you. The only reason I can think of that they didnt order the other stuff is in case the cycle doesnt finish.
I can think of no other logical explanation.
 for the PITA you went through.
