HCG QUESTION! ( HELP!!!)
Umm...I could have SWORN that the Dr. Said I should take 5000 units tonight.....BUT the nurse said use it all and the RX that came is 10000 units.
IS that too much?
anyone remember what they used?
Im afraid with these HUGE follicles I am gonna Ovulate too soon.

I didn't use HcG, I used Ovidrel but it was two full Syringes of Ovidrel.
I remember thinking it was a lot!!
I would call your emergency line to make sure. This is the most important shot of the whole cycle.

Ok online it does say that more is used if you have more then 3 follies at 20mm. I have like 7 follies at 22mm.......maybe thats right?
I dont wanna clal, I will sound like an idiot!
I have an appointment in the am. I will just remind them of how much I took?!?!?!?

I know mine have computer access and they just look you up.
I think better safe than sorry. Tell them that two different messages said two different things and you need to know for sure.

Mine was 10,000.
it is either 5,000 and 10,000, I actually think 10,000 is the norm.

see good thing you called. I did take 10000, I know they give 5000 when your estrogen is high.
Do You know how to make it 5000? Sorry if I am making you feel stupid. I dont think you are but I know I would have been confused.

I'm pretty sure to make 5000 you draw up 2 mls of liquid, mix it with the powder, then draw up 1ml of that solution.

That sound right. I think you can also mix it with 1mL and then draw up only 1/2 mL also. same thing I think

I took 10,000. Hope everything is OK now Donna -- don't worry we all go through this! Remember, I didn't even HAVE the HcG the night I had to take it, and wound up meeting a pharmacist at Starbucks at 10pm??
There is so much involved it is impossible to keep it all straight.
