Britney gets a Tummy Tuck
Pop diva Britney Spears reportedly had a tummy tuck after the birth of her second child, reports NW Magazine.
The 'Toxic' singer delivered her second son at the Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, in Los Angeles, just before 2am on Tuesday (12.09.06).
According to gossip web site perezhilton.com, Britney named the tot - who weighed in at a healthy 6lb 11oz - Sutton Pierce Federline so he has the same initials as his older brother Sean Preston Federline .
The boys also (almost) share a birthday – Sean Preston turned 1 on Thursday, just two days after his brother was born.
Abdominoplasty or "tummy tuck" is a cosmetic surgery procedure to reshape and firm the abdomen. It involves the removal of excess skin and fat from the middle and lower abdomen in order to tighten the muscle of the abdominal wall. This type of surgery is usually sought by women after having children. Sources spilling to NW, say Britney is so desperate to have her old body, she couldn't wait for the weight to drop with excercise.
Spears recently stopped by the Liberace Penthouse Emmy suite in Beverly Hills to pick up some swag, and after being swarmed by paparazzi on her way in, Brit revealed that she's tired of everyone picking on her for being heavy , TMZ reported at the time.
For inspiration to help take off that baby weight, the pop tart picked up some Angelfish Designs belly jewelry that attaches to bikini tops, and ordered a few swimsuits from Nicolita to wear when she slims down. Britney said she plans on working really hard to get back into shape, she's hoping to rock her new belly jewelry.

It's certainly possible. Especially 2 kids back to back like that.
If I had the money I'd do the same after 2 c sections.

I remember that being rumored after they showed the pics of her with a flat belly a few weeks after she gave birth. Actually, the only place I rmember reading that was someone's opinion posted on a chat board...

I read somewhere that this is why a lot of celebs choose to have c-sections, so they can do this. crazy!

Abdominoplasty takes quite some time to recover from. It is not easy. My sister had it about a year and a half after her gastric bypass surgery. She had to wear support/pressure garments around her midsection for months and it was very hard for her to bend. It may actually be harder to recover from than a typical c-section. I havent been playing that close attention to her lately, but if Britney is bouncing around, I would tend to doubt she had it. But you never know.
ETA:
I had gastric bypass as well and plan to have abdominoplasty after I stop having children. To have done it before hand would have been silly as I would end up stretching out all over again and that is a surgery, I would never want to do twice. Thats another reason why I would doubt that she had it after Sean P.

Absolutely. I could've used one after Christopher, but I knew that a)it would be pointless since we planned on more kids and b)we didn't have enough $$$ at the time
