Scheduling.....

Well, my boys seems to be on a schedule. During the day they sleep longer and go every 3 hours and at night 2 hours for feedings...how is everyone else doing??

Also, my boys did NOT like laying in the pack-n play to sleep. I dont think they liked being laying flat on theri backs...so they are sleeping in theiri swings

Re: Scheduling.....

We are still stuck at every three hour feedings. I just wish they would go a little longer at night. I just moves the twins to the crib. They are such squirmers, they were hitting into the sides of the bassinette. So far, so good.

Re: Scheduling.....

I just posted on the parenting board about my issues with feeding. They have been going about every 3 hours but this weekend was bad. I really would like to start getting them into 4 hour stretches. Sleeping at night is hard and i get maybe an hour and a half between each feeding (if everything goes good). It's A LOT tougher then i thought it was going to be Chat Icon

Re: Scheduling.....

I have tried to keep the boys on the every 3 hour schedule they had in the NICU... 8, 11, 2, 5... I used to set an alarm at night to make sure I kept them on schedule. Now I just wait for them to wake me. They seem to have an every 4 hour schedule overnight which I am going to pray keeps up! During the day I still keep them at every 3 because my DR told me you don't want their blood sugar to get too low.

They have been sleeping in the same crib at night and I switch between bouncy seats and the pack n play during the day.

Mine are on a similar schedule, but it is tough w/ the breastfeeding bc i am not getting them to both latch on at once yet. i tried but it was too much too soon. so i bf one for about 20 mins (but usually longer bc they like to mess around), change diaper, burp (usually a good 20 mins at least), then give them bottle w/ supplement formula, burp again, then move onto the next baby. i feel like i never sleep. they eat about 4 times a night.
