I may splurge on nice coat or bag - but that is usually about it - I was laughing at myself the other day
b/c ....

I spent my whole 2 paychecks on a nice rain coat and gucci bag, yet I had on my favorite $9.99 pair of jeans from TJ MAX, boots from Payless for under 30 bucks and my shirt from Target - that if I had to guess - was less than 25 bucks

sometimes...

if I want a new bag, I know that I'll be dropping major $. same applies to clothing, if I need stuff for a new season.

but if I am at the mall just browsing and see something I like that costs a lot, I won't buy it.

Absolutely! Although the $30 I save on an outfit (in total) doesn't offset the hundreds I'll spend on a bag or a new winter coat, it still makes me feel better that I tried to be frugal somewhere along the line!
