lupron question
I'm supposed to start lupron this Friday for FET. I was just reading some side effects of lupron if you are pregnant. How are you sure that you are not pregnant when you start it? Has anyone using it been told to use protection while taking it? I didn't because I wasn't told to do so and now I'm a bit worried about starting it. Although my chances of getting pregnant naturally are slim.

My dr. did a blood test before the start of any medication in order to make sure of no pregnancy.......

But how could they tell that soon? What if I got pregnant today, then start on Friday?

I know before IVF I was told to contracept, but I cant remember if it was before or after Lupron. Call your MD

I am goi ng to start Lupron This month and My Dr told No unprotectd Sex this Month!! Since You Start LUPRON right after you Detect Ovulation It would not be good to try to get pregnant!!
