My mom got me one of those stethescope monitors. I use it right after I eat and I can hear all my digestion. If I use it a couple hours after dinner, usually after I've been relaxing a bit because they say that's when the baby will be most active, it's much quieter and I can hear little thumps that are kicks (even though I can't feel them yet). If you also hear wooshing noises, it says these are the flowing nutrients. I haven't been able to hear the heartbeat yet--the package says its more likely you'll hear it towards the end of the 2nd trimester.

Hi all. I'm due the first week of April and though I read the chat often, I haven't really written anything!
I was getting some bad migraines, but thankfully in the last week or so they seem to be a bit better. I laughed last night that I actually feel like my stomach is stretching or feeling "weird." lol
Everyone looks so great! My biggest complaint is back pain after sitting and standing all day!
Good luck to all! I'll be delivering at Huntington Hosp.

ok girls here is a good ?? how much weight have you gained so far?
I weighed in Tuesday night at 148 a gain of 113 pounds in 3 1/2 months, good i guess....

Has anyone lost weight since being pregnant...my doctor isn't concerned but I have only gained back one pound out of the six I lost...Doctor said he wouldn't be concerned if I stayed at pre-pregnancy weight until the 20th week...(I am currently in my 15th week)

I am gonna post on this thread even though my due date is March 27th (close enough to April)...I am doing great, my mom ordered my nursery furniture and I am waiting for it to be delivered. You know I have the biggest belly of you all at 19 1/2 weeks. If you dare and have not seen them yet, check out my album

I read that 113 lbs first and I was like WHAT?????? lol.
I'm 17 weeks and as of Monday, pre- candy binge, I was up 7 lbs. I'm afraid to see what all the chocolate has done And just think, we have Thanksgiving, Christmas and Valentine's days to look forward to and then get on the scale!!! We get all the fatty fat holidays during our pregnancies.

Losing some weight is OK. It happens to some people from ms and for others for changing their eating habits for the better. Your doctor will let you know if you go too low, but it's common in the beginning.

I lost 13 pounds from m/s - and finally gained it back by my 17th week... I'm in almost 19 now, and about a few pounds over at this point!

I am due April 3rd and I've gained almost 10 lbs so far. I'm trying to slow it down as I wasn't "skinny" beforehand, so far I'm no unhappy.
Nov. 14th I go to find out what we are having!  We're so excited!! It's our first.
Our 4th anniversary is April 5th, so we're cutting it close. 
Everyone sounds like they are doing great!
