It's not that I don't know what is healthy and what isn't, & I am sure I know I eat much bigger portions than I should......so what did WW teach you?

I need something to just STOP me when I should not be eating.

I only need to lose about 20 pounds.
Any advice if WW would even work for me?

Re: those of you who are on Weight Wachers

Hi! I just joined WW last week, and I am trying to lose the 20 lbs I gained since getting married! I lost 4.4 lbs my first week, and I feel like I ate constantly. The best part is that you can eat anything really, you just have to be willing to give up the points for it...and after a while you don't want to give up points and you realize the food isn't worth it.

They have a special now 5 weeks for $49. Good luck!!!Chat Icon

I've done it before and the best thing it taught me was how to make better, healther choices. You can look at two desserts or snacks and say well if I had that I know it would only be 2 points and if I had that it would be 10 - so you go with the 2 point snack. I still know to this day I can snack on veggies all day long at 0 pts or that fruit or a yogurt is a good snack too - things like that. Good luck to you! Chat Icon

see I know what is healthier....I guess I just need to stick to what someone tells me to eat. I have never had this problem before, but lately all the exercising and healthy eatting is not budging the extra pudge!

WW does teach you about portion control - if you are following their flex plan, you weigh and measure out your food. It is a pain in the beginning, but you get used to it and it is not such a big deal.
