Mystic Ct
I know some of you have gone there recently. Dh and I are going the week of Christmas and we were trying to figure out if one night is enough or should we stay at least two nights. Is there a lot to do there? We plan on going to the seaport and the aquarium as of now.

Re: Mystic Ct
We just got home on Saturday. We went overnight and actually ended up leaving earlier than we thought. We had a good time but there was much less to do than I had expected.
We went to a cider mill, Old Mystick Village and Fox Woods on Friday, Downtown Mystic and the Aquarium on Saturday. We skipped the seaport but other than that there isn't a lot of other things...
One night should be enough!

Re: Mystic Ct
I would stay 2. Check out steamboat inn in Mystic. It is right on the water. Every room has a hot tub and a fireplace. Try to get an upper room - those are the rooms with the fireplace, and try to get one of rooms with the view of the water.
If you go on their website - click on the special packages link.
We love the Mystic experience package.
1 night with free breakfast, dinner for 2, bottle of wine and free tickets to the aquairum or the seaport. Then you can get 1 extra night for $125.
We have gone there twice and I cannot wait to go back scott

Re: Mystic Ct
I used to live in Mystic... One day is enough to do all you want, but Foxwoods and Mohegan Sun are both within 10 miles if you like that sorta thing...

Re: Mystic Ct
We went to Mystic last month. We stayed two days. We went to the Aquarium, old mystic village, Foxwoods, and stopped at the outlets on the way home. Defiantely eat breakfast at a place called Kitchen Little. It's a tiny little shack, but the food is awesome!
