shrimp oreganatta
I tried making it last night - came out ok
but if you have made this, can you tell me are the breadcrumbs suppose to "stick" to the shrimp?
They didn't so I just poured them over the shrimp in a baking pan
do you dip them in egg or something first?
TIA

Re: shrimp oreganatta
I have to find the recipe I have and post it.
I butterfly the shrimp and put in a baking dish. Then put bread crumb mixture over the shrimp. When it cooks it sort of sticks to the shrimp but not the same as if you breaded it or soemthing. But thats the wat it is supposed to be....kind of just sticking to the top of them.
Was your bread crumb mixture a little wet? I know the one I have uses olive oil and an egg in the mixture and I think that helps it stick.

Re: shrimp oreganatta
yeah, It was damp
I didn't do the egg, I did soft butter and some oil and then mushed it with my hands LOL
but as long as it is not suppose to stick or look breaded, I think it was ok
