I'm having a bad "image" day
I just could use some hugs and words of encouragement.
I, like many others, have been making some not-so-healthy eating choices after thanksgiving. While I haven't gained weight , or so the scale says, I feel like crap and I look heavier. I wanted to start working out again today, but once again I had no time because I had to do school work from 9 am to 10 pm. it's finals and all, and just feel like there aren't enough hrs in the day. I am looking for an early morning routine I can start, although I am honest w/ myself...it's not going to be easy to get up earlier then I normally do, particularly when I have work in the morning. I will try, but it's not the optimal time. I'm usually not getting to bed until 12am or later.
Anyway, I was upset today...I told DH that I want to vomit every time I look in the mirror. I have made some stupid diet choices in the past that were not the healthy way to lose weight. I don't want to go that route again. I have been so cranky and my muscles actually hurt from not being used.
I would love some hugs right now, or some words of encouragement.

Try not to be so hard on your self. Maybe concentrate on food choices until your finals are over then get back to a more formal exercise routine. I know when I plan to get up early to workout and end up sleeping in, I give up watching everything else for the rest of the day because I start the day feeling like I failed.

Re: I'm having a bad "image" day
Everyone has these days
I find that when I make healthier choices when eating I feel better automatically. Drinking enough water, eating healthy and only indulging once in a while is what makes me feel best about myself.
I shouldn't be talking about working out (I have the same problem, I can't seem to keep a regular schedule), how about just commiting yourself to 2 days a week? Starting out small and working your way up may help you get on track!
Good luck

I'm feeling the exact same way today. Feeling the ole love handles creeping up. I have to get back to the treadmill.
