I know how you feel. When I was in college, I thought I would be married and starting the rest of my life at 25. Well "the rest of my life" started 10 years late. I dont own a house. I have no kids but I do have a dear husband who would give the world for me. Having him first was THE MOST IMPORTANT as without him, the rest of my life would not being nearly as meaningful. We all want the whole picture and when it finally happens, you will feel so much better and IT WILL HAPPEN!!!

no baby, no house yet (nothing affordable out there in the areas we like). i am grateful for my family & friends & health - i just can't help being sad. I thought i'd have a house & 3 kids by now

It can feel bad sometimes when you don't have what you always thought you would or want - but it will happen eventually, each piece, when the time is right. Hang in there and try to enjoy the holidays!

thank you girls! its comforting to just be able to vent and at least we all have each other . My DH is wonderful too. Its like something just ticked in me and now my focus is on creating our family and he doesn't have that darn biological clock so he doesn't feel as pressured!

It's OK to get down once in a while, I definitely do. Just don't let it affect you too much. I try to remember the great things that I DO have in my life and it usually helps me to feel better.
