Anyone get depressed when Christmas is over???
I do....and have every year..even when I was little..Its like this whole build up and then its over

yes, I get really depressed when everyone takes the christmas lights down. Then it's just cold dark winter !!

I used to, but I started to do a lot of decorations for ALL of the holidays, so I stay busy.
When it's summertime and I have "downtime", we go on vacation. I try VERY HARD to make sure that we're always anticipating something

Yeah, it definitely is a letdown......besides the fact that now I don't really have an excuse to go shopping every weekend or every night I am even more sad when all of the decorations come down. I am happy about all of the sales though...I think you do better with sales after Xmas than before

I used to feel this way when I had more time to enjoy the season. Nowadays, it feels like Christmas comes faster than I have time to catch up and I am hardly prepared so I don't feel the letdown.
I also think it helps that DH and I don't see friends on Christmas so we keep the celebration going on past Christmas.

I don't get depressed, but I get a little sad.
I just get soo used to all the warmth, and christmas cheer, its sad its not like this all year round.
And when all the lights come down..everything looks so naked

Tonight we are going to dinner with 22 others since both our families are in town for the holidays in CA this year.

Im a liittle sad cause I hotes this year and I didnt get to enjoy any of it- I spent most of the night in the kitchen. We have 2 more rounds to do with my Dh mom and Stepmom so at least I can relax al little during those times nad watch my son open some gifts- next year no more hosting....

that's a great way to look at things.
i get sad. we still have DH's family christmas (with his immediate fam) this weekend but after that, i hate how dreary january can be

I do get sad, but I woke up today and no shopping to do, no wrapping, no cleaning for guests, and no baking. Plus, the tree is still up, and DH and I usually try to make New Year's Eve special just for the two of us.
And I reserve the right to still play Christmas music through December 31, so the spirit lasts a little longer, I think, but without all the stress.

no, not really. I can't stand the holiday shopping craze and traffic. I also eat way too much at this time too.
I will miss the holiday music and christmas lights though.

Yes and no. Yes because I enjoy spending time with family and having time off. My brother and SIL always come up and visit so we get to see them for the holidays. DH and I enjoy cooking dinner and entertaining.
No because I live by Roosevelt Field and the Source Mall and cannot deal with the chaos and craziness. Traffic is everywhere and everyone is in a rush. So that part I don't miss at all, although it'll still be crazy by the mall until after New Years.

I used to get soo depressed when I was younger. I love Christmas but, I wasn't into it this year.
I do get depressed when I get the after Christmas bills!!
