WW questions

I haven't been a member for quite awhile Chat Icon
So I am going back to join. I was just looking at their website, there was no core plan when I was there a few years ago. Do you do core or flex and what are your likes/dislikes? Also e-tools sounds great, is it worth it? What can you really do with it? TIA

Re: WW questions

I do Flex because for me, I need the flexibility to all out it what I want when I want it.

Core is designed to make people aware of the hunger levels and to stop when full. It's focus is whole foods, not processed. There is a core list of whole, unprocessed foods that you can eat until satisfied, without counting points. Accompanied by this are foods that are on the core list, but can only be eaten in a certain quantity, at certain number of times of the day etc. You are also given 35 points a week to use for foods that are not on the core foods list.

I tried it and it is great, but I find I eat more than 35 points worth of non core foods a week, so it was not the best choice for me and not something I was finding mysekf easily adjusting to.

E-tools is fabulous. On the WW boards, you have access to the community message boards for free. With e-tools, you have access to a program that points finds, a food and activity tracker, a recipe builder and access to recipes and program basics.

I find that I achieved a great deal of success with e-tools because it really got me to journal. I never really kept a written journal before. But since I spend a lot of time on the computer, I find that everything on e-tools is so quick, easy and accessible that there really is no excuse for not journaling. I love it!

Thanks for this overview! I'm the same way, I need to have what I want when I want it!!! I am going tomorrow and I can't wait! I also can't wait to go food shopping! I think I'm going to do e-tools also. Good luck to you!!

Re: WW questions

I used to do the flex and had no luck with it. I am going to try core this time when I go back on Saturday.
