Strollers- Does this sound right?

These strollers are confusing. Does this seem right, or am I doubling up on strollers?

1) SnugRide Infant Car Seat, with the SnugRide Infant Carseat Frame (you have to buy them separately, right?) This is the top-rated one for safety, right?

2) MetroLite stroller (not with infant seat, a regular stroller, I guess you use this mainly after the baby's out of the infant seat? Chat Icon )

Does this sound good? Sorry, but this is so confusing!!!!!!! Chat Icon

Re: Strollers- Does this sound right?

It does- you can get it as a travel system (cheaper that way).

The snap and go for the snug-ride is just a frame- you would have to remove the carseat from the car to use it. It IS lighter then the metro lite- but can only be used while the baby is still in an infant carseat. The metrolite can be used for a toddler- but an umbrella stroller (which is also lighter) would also suffice at that age too.....

Ugh- can you tell I've been reading up on this?

Ahh, I'm so confused!! Chat Icon The infant seat will snap into the metrolite stroller that comes in the travel system? And then after you're done with the infant seat, you can just use the stroller as a regular stroller? I'm getting so confused between strollers now. I definitely don't want to get more than I need Chat Icon

From what I have read and spoken to fellow moms....they LOVE the snap and go..it is very easy to use. Granted its only useful for about 6 months, but it only about $60. It seems like if you are driving somewhere and running into a store, the snap-n-go is the way to go

Yeah, it's very lightweight and affordable, I could see the benefit of getting it, that's why I put it on my registry, just wasn't sure if that was the 'norm'. Thanks!!
