What do you wear to school?
These days I am noticing that teachers are going more casual. I guess for the comfort and standing all day doesn't help!! I actually feel kind of weird wearing nice dress pants and heels to work sometimes...today I am wearing Uggs, nice jeans, and a sweater w/ a button down shirt underneath....

i usually go pretty casual, too... usually comfy " dress" pants ( like khakis) and a v-neck sweater... and definitely comfy shoes because i'm on my feet all day!

Some days I go casual like khakis, but most of teh time Im dressed up..nice shirt and dress pants, I try to wear heels that are NOT too high.
On Fridays I wear jeans and a nice shirt, sometimes sneakers

I do khaki-type pants mostly, and a sweater or nice turtleneck type shirt. Shoes vary ... I push it sometimes with my brownish sneakers.

I usually dress very nice. Dress pants, skirts, boots, heals, sometimes nice flats. The only time I ever wear jeans is on field trips.

I wear a black tshirt and jeans EVERYDAY!
o it isnt b/c I want to wear we do not have a contract so we wear black and jeans everyday!

We had to do that in the beginning of the year so I feel your pain!
I usually wear dress pants or khaki type pants with a sweater or cotton shirt and high boots or loafer type shoes. I also wear long skirts and capris with boots. Every other friday we are allowed to wear jeans. I think it really depends on what grade you teach - when I taught in middle school I got alot more dressed up bc I wasn't on the rug, painting, etc. with kids. Now I teach 2nd and dress more casual bc it is more functional.

I used to usually wear dress pants, nice shoes and a blouse or sweater. This year, I'm in maternity clothes, and I just care about comfort. I wear jeans A LOT, and I NEVER used to wear jeans.
But even in jeans, I still look nicer than some of my co-workers who come to work looking like go-go dancers, or looking like they slept in their clothes.

We have a dress code so...
I wear dress pants 99.9% of the time. Never wear heels, only ballet flats or loafer type shoes. Turtlenecks or button down shirts. When I wear a skirt--which is like never--I always wear tights.
Even if we could wear jeans I wouldn't because
a. I'm not a jeans person really
b. I like some distinction between the week and the weekday--even if I wear a "work" shirt on the weekend or vice versa, I feel like I have no wardrobe!

I get pretty dressed up most days. Dress pants, blouses, knee length skirts, tall boots. I'm a Banana Republic kinda girl.
If it's really cold I'll do a casual sweater and Uggs. We're not allowed to wear jeans anymore...

Usually, dress pants with a sweater, cords, button downs, etc. I will wear jeans once a week, maybe every other week. I wear heels mostly, boots with heels. Sneakers are for before a vacation or something.

You ladies who can wear jeans are lucky.
I used to love D week in Kindergarten (years ago) when we could get away with wearing DENIM. We cant wear jeans. I do sneak my UGGs in every so often though with a skirt.
I am a big fan of black/gray pants and skirts.

I usually wear nice pants and a sweater, blouse. I can't bring myself to wear jeans, I just feel like I'd look too casual. I only do on days students wont be there.

I would never wear jeans to work = too casual! I love Uggs, but never for work. I'd rather not walk around looking like my 8th graders while I'm working! On weekends, it's fine...

I used to dress up more often for school....but I'm pregnant now, and I'm all for being comfortable! Pretty much every Friday is jeans for me.
