Anyone lose their mother and father?

Just curious. My mother left my dad and I when I was 13...so it was my dad and I (im an only child too). Then my dad died when I was 25. Now at 30, and my bday coming up I feel alone and more like an orphan ever.

My mom passed away in 2004, and I lost my dad in the summer of 2006. It's still so crazy that they are both gone. I still cannot believe it.

I lost both of my parents within nine months of each other, just before I turned 30. It has been a while, but it was tough not having them there for some of the milestones in my life, including my wedding.

My mom died when I was 10 in 1989 and my dad died in 2003. I am an only child and when I found out my dad died all I could say was "I lost my mom when I was 10." over and over again. It was awful. I am still struggling with grief. Not many people can relate to a situation like ours.

I lost both my parents by the age of 30. It is so awful and not many people are in the situation. My Mom's anniversary of her death is next week, it is so dramatic to have lost both parents so young. I have been depressed and replaying in my mind "13 years ago this week".... Feel free to FM mail me.

I am also an only child who lost both my parent within less than a year of each other. My Mom was Sept 1997 and my Dad was Aug. 1998, sometimes it seems like yesterday and other times it seems like a lifetime ago.
