"Foul" question...no pun intended.
*********TMI QUESTION**********
What do I do? Pastina has anal leakage at a minimum of 3 nights per week. I'd probably say it's about a teaspoon worth. It's clear, but the odor is so potent and pungent that I started dry heeving last night...
Last year, the vet said this was normal. Is it REALLY????
Any thoughts?

you can get her anal glands extracted. it will leak otherwise and it smells like fish---times ten! its the grossest thing ever. it takes two seconds. i get dharmas done when needed. if you dont the sac can become inflamed and be painful. the best way to know when its time to get them drained is when they start to scoot.

she's never ever scooted. The vet said that if they "empty themselves" she's fine. Well, they DO get empty, but it's like a noxious fume in here when that happens.

See if your groomer wil do it if your vet is hesitant. I would def get it done. Bruno had to have his expelled already
