Has anyone taken an anitbiotic while PG? (z-pac)
I think I have bronchitis and my doctor prescribed me a z-pac antibiotic. She says it's safe, but it still makes me nervous. Anyone else have something similar? I'm 14 weeks now.

I know several women on here have taken the Z-pac while pregnant, their doctors all said it was fine. If you're still unsure, definitely call your OB before taking the medicine.
I had a bacterial infection last week, and was given an Rx for amoxicillian for 10 days. I stopped at my OB's office on the way from that Dr. to double-check it's safety, and they said it was fine. I hate taking unnecessary medicine too, but it's necessary to get the infection out of your body.

I'm on an antibiotic now for a sinus infection. It's based on amoxicliian.

(knock on wood) i havent been sick yet, but i have to take antibiodics before i go to the dentist, so i will be taking amoxil or penacilin, my dr said both are safe.

I had a bad sinus infection and ear infection when pregnant with Andy and had to do antibiotic twice and he's fine. Feel better!

I didnt take z pac but I was on a high dose of amoxicillan for a UTI.

I just finished my z-pack a week ago. I think it's ok as long as you are out of your 1st trimester which you are  Feel better! (BTW I took it for bronchitis too)
