I brought my dog in with Lyme Disease but they wouldn't treat him unless referred by his regular vet -- who was in Lynbrook -- I had moved and did not have a new vet yet. 
My sister took her dog there, when he had a stroke, and after a few days and a ton of $$...he is doing better but is in no way "healed". But I don't think there was much they could do.
I hear it is very good though -- just do not go to Central in Valley Stream!!
