Fireplace cost?
Hi, I was wondering if anyone could give me a ball park figure to have a wood burning fireplace installed? I am looking for a full chimney one with the firebox, bricks etc...
Thanks !!!

Re: Fireplace cost?
I was told somewhere between $3000 and $5000 to put it on an outside wall and have the chimney go up that wall. You can get a gas fireplace or a pellet stove for under $1000 and they can duct it into your regular chimney for a little more.

Re: Fireplace cost?
ours was $10,000 & change.
Of course everything changes the price depending on what kind of brick you want. Who knew that there were so many choices in bricks, but trust me... there are! Also, the price changes if you want a hearth and depending on the detail of the top of the chimney.
