Re: Getting really annoyed
He needs to know that any comments about food directed toward you are unacceptable. He seems to think it's helping you but it's not and maybe he needs to be told that bluntly.
Are you in counseling? Maybe he needs to accompany you to a session. Is he the only person that does this?
I wonder why he feels it's necessary.
Hugs to you.

Re: Getting really annoyed
I think you need to be blunt with him and tell him look I love you and appreciate your concern but I'm 29 and know how to read labels and what to put and not put in my mouth. Your comments are insensitive and are hurting me. Sometimes you need to be a little more blunt with parents....they don't seem to know when it's too much.

I agree completely. Having a past eating disorder, & I have dealt with this, and still get the occassional comments. Now I deal with IBS and watch what I eat and again get the comments.

Re: Getting really annoyed
If he knew about you "issue" then gently remind him of it. Make sure he knows how it makes you feel. Hiding what you eat is not healthy either
