Had My retrievel......UPDATE!!!!!!
My interent was down yesterday so I couldnt post yesterday.
I was very scared, but DH held my hand the whole time I was there, except in the operating room. It was so quick after they knoecked me out finally, my anesthesiologist hit 3 veins till he finally got an IV in me, and then off to sleep I went.
They took out 20 eggs Which the dr. said is very good.
They are going to call me today to let me know my transfer date, and how fertilization is going, but it could change that 3rd morning to the 5th day.
I hope it goes further.
Im still a little sore today, but not as bad as I expected. Just NOT liking the Progesterone shots.
We rented a movie last night, and DH says, do you think our eggs and spem are fertilized yet??

20 eggs! Wow! I thought my 14 was a lot 
See, it wasn't so bad, right?
Are you using an ice pack before doing the progesterone shots? It helps to numb the area before getting the shot.
I can't wait until I'm done getting stabbed with needles! 
Keep us updated on your transfer!

Diane my prayers are with you ! Sorry about the progesterone shots :( How long do you have to be on them ? Will they switch you over to suppositories after ?

Yes, I did put an ice pack on the area, and at night I felt a cramp in the back of my leg in the muscle that night, but went away.
I switch to the vaginal caps next week, not sure of the date.

So, I got my results back, and out of the 20, 19 were mature eggs.
15 Fertilized
8 was with ICSI (where they inject the sperm in the egg)
7 were fertilized normally.
I have my tranfer on Monday, but the embryologist could call me that morning and push it to Wednesday.
I hope I dont have to take a day off for nothing.

Diane - I am sooooooo thrilled for you! Not only do you have the two to put back - you have plenty of "spares" so you won't have to take all the stim meds for your next babies, ( I say next because I am SURE this it it for you!) Keep us updated!

I have such good thoughts for you!! I really hope this is it!
As for the PIO shots, on other boards they recommend heat not ice. Heat will make it move around easier if that makes sense.
I'm happy you're moving on to the suppositories they will be much easier to deal with!
Just realized today could be your transfer!
