Doppler Rental anyone?
Anyone have any suggestions as to where I could rent one from? I'm not ready yet, but I do want to rent one eventually.

On fetalsure.com, says needs caregiver authorization? Do you really needs dr's approval to rent?

No I didn't. I just ordered it and got it in the mail within 2 days.

My brother bought me the one from Motherhood Maternity and it didn't work at all. Are these better quality ones? I'd hate to see anyone else waste their money. He was so disappointed.

How soon can you start using them? Some sites say 10 weeks and some say 14 weeks.

I rented mine at 10 weeks and was able to hear my son's heartbeat for the first time at that time. I had read it's difficult to hear anything before 10 weeks.

The one you rent...is real medical equipment..just like they use in the doctors office... SOOOOOOO much better than the plastic one your buy at motherhood..or babies r us..
I had bought one of those first..and it did not work at ALL...
I rented my doppler from baby beat..and it was AWESOME!!!

I LOVED IT!!!
FYI... No matter where you rent it from, don't buy their gel to use it with. It's expensive and unnecessary. You can use any kind of think lotion with it!

So true...the doppler I rented came with a free bottle..when I ran out I bought like KY jelly..and it worked just fine!
