I STILL haven't seen AF
I am on CD 47.... for those of you who have been following - I went to the Dr. on Tuesday, who said I have nothing to worry about. That it is probably stress that is causing it. She said to monitor until August when I got for my annual and we will see what my cycle is up to.
Here's my question - since AF didn't come yet- then I didn't ovulate, right?
Will I ovulate at any point now and then AF should come about 2 weeks later? I have been noticing A LOT of EWCM the past few days, could I be ovulating now? This is so confusing. Could I possibly get pregnant during this cycle, or is that impossible until AF shows up an the next cycle comes?

First of all, I would be concerned about any doctor telling you to "monitor until August." That is 4 months away!
I believe that AF shows up approximately 14 days after ovulation. The EWCM might signal it is coming. Have you tried an OPK?

Re: I STILL haven't seen AF
AUGUST?!?!?! You need to find yourself a new doctor. That means you won't have had your period for almost six months by that point - that's insane.
I have a great one in Great Neck if you're looking for a new one. You may just need a little help with the next one or there may be something more to it but waiting four more months isn't going to solve a thing.

You might be about to O since you are seeing EWCM. I would get an Answer 20 pack of OPKs and test with them since you are seeing EWCM.

Re: I STILL haven't seen AF
If you're seeing EWCM, chances are ovulation is around the corner.
If you ovulate today (for arguments sake) AF could arrive anywhere from 5-18 days hence. If she arrives in less than 10 days (some say 12), you have a luteal phase defect.
If you have not ovulated yet this cycle it is still possible to get PG.
I agree with everyone else - go buy some OPKs and start testing ASAP.

Re: I STILL haven't seen AF
Thanks everyone... I have just been spending so much money lately, between the HPTs and visit to the dr's office, its just upsetting. We are not "officially" trying yet - just not being careful at the moment. We weren't going to start until May or June.. I saw the NP at my dr's office, if AF doesn't show up in another week I am going to to call and make sure I get an appt with the doctor, and if she still gives me the same BS, I will find myself a new practice. For some prior history - I came off BCP in September. My cycles were all around 30 days until Feb, when it was 35 days, and I haven't seen AF since my last period started on Feb. 25th. I was irregular before going on BCP - that was ten years ago. I was concerned when I went off the pill I would go back to being irregular, but then AF started showing up on a regular cycle. I don't know if she is up to her old tricks now or what, but it has me concerned.

Re: I STILL haven't seen AF
It may be helpful to ask your gyn to scan your ovaries for cysts. One of the symptoms of pcos is irregular cycles.
And your question of will you O any time, the answer is yes. My sister didn't have her period for over six months. She went to the doctor finally to get provera to jumpstart her cycle and she was 6 weeks pregnant.
