Sandals Royal Bahamian
My DH and I are thinking about going here for our anniversary. Anyone have any experiences with this resort. Also would like to know about the postives and negatives of the concierge (butler) service.
Thanks for the help

Re: Sandals Royal Bahamian
I just got back from my HM at the Sandal's resort in the Bahamas. We stayed in the concierge manor building during our stay.
FM me for details or with specific questions.
ETA: DH and I had a world of fun at the resort and highly recommend it to anyone who wants all inclusive!

Re: Sandals Royal Bahamian
I stayed there for 10 days on my honeymoon. It was by far the worst trip of my life. In my opinion there was nothing to like.
Our room was old and worn, the food was not even adequate, the nightlife was hokey and the staff was slow and unaccommodating. Needless to say, I don't recommend it!

We went for 9 days for our HM and loved it!!
I would def rec getting the best room you can get. It is worth it. The lower rooms are small. And def ask for the newer building. We liked that building the best.
And it is the Caribbean where life is a lot slower and relaxed so expect that

I went there a few years ago and must say one of my best vacations ever. The staff was very friendly and helpful and the food was delicious. Would definetely recommend.

We had our HM there almost 5 years ago & the Concierge Service was worth it!! You need reservations for a few of the restuarants and for some outside tours and activities and she arranged all of it for us!!
We loved it!

DH & I went last year for a quick getaway and came out of it feeling the same way - that there wasn't much to like. I think the tired accommodations and hokey atmosphere was what did it in for me. I think for the money there have to be better all-inclusives and there are most definitely better vacations.
