Re: Help..SUGGEST A MA PROGRAM

Stony Brook and Tuoro have PT and OT programs (you're talking about physical and occupational therapy, right?)

Re: Help..SUGGEST A MA PROGRAM

If you're willing to commute to the city, Teachers College at Columbia has over 100 graduate programs in the field of education. It's an awful commute to get there and back, but I'm 3 weeks from graduation and can say that it's been totally worth it!

Something you may want to look into!

Re: Help..SUGGEST A MA PROGRAM

I did a Masters In Literacy Education - birth through 12th grade at Dowling.

It was a piece of cake. Do I ever plan on teaching reading? No, but just in case, it's something to fall back on.

Re: Help..SUGGEST A MA PROGRAM

I had a great experience at Dowling. I loved the program and the fact that almost all the professors are adjuncts working in Long Island School Districts.

Yes, I meant Occupational Therapy/Physical Therapy. Stonybrook.. hmm I might need to check into it. It seems there are more openings in this field. I enjoy working with the therpists my students go with.
