Need help...any ideas for Mother's Day??

Any thoughts for something fun? I am doing a second grade leave replacement....

When I did K, I took a photo of each child with a banner I made that said "I Love Mom". I used this:
I love you mom.
I love you because____________
You _______________________
You _______________________
Happy Mother's Day!

Each child told me three specific and detailed reasons they love their mom. I typed them up and
I glued it onto large construction paper, had each child decorate it with glitter etc and rolled it up with a ribbon.
I still do that even though I am in fourth grade now.

We made trivets using a 2x2 tile from Home Depot. Then the kids decorate it with Sharpies. Glue felt on the back. They came out great! The tile is cheap too....14 cents a piece. I did it with my 2nd graders and they had a blast decorating.
