Anyone ever been to Cedar Point amusement park in Ohio?
We love amusement Parks, and we see this one on the travel channel all the time. It has been voted #1 for 10 years straight. We are going in August and staying at the Breakers hotel.

i lived in sandusky for a summer - the park is great - love all the roller coasters - so much fun -the lines can be long but the roller coasters are long much longer then 6 flags -
the water park is nice too - good for the middle of a hot day
also the lake is warm - very shallow

I read Sandusky is a small town. It actually said that you don't have to look for signs when going to Cedar Point. It said to just follow the person in front of you, because that is where they are probably going. I thought that was funny. Dh and I have actually never traveled to this part of America. We usually stay on either the east or west coasts.
We read the lines are long. We are going to go during twilight hours one day. Then the next day we are going to go to the park one hour early. Since they allow you to do this if you stay at one of the parks resorts. Any suggestions on where to eat?

We went just for the day when we lived in Michigan. It was fun - wish we had more time there though as the lines were very long and we didn't get to do everything we wanted to.

with the twighlight hours you will get on a lot of rides- when all the bus trips leave -
i have actually ridden all the roller coaster there in under 2 hours - i don't totally advise that right after eating - but it is possible - plan to got he biggest coasters first thing int he mornign or at the end of the night
millenium force is great, raptor is one of my favorites - power tower due in the morning because it is great for looking out over the lake -
have fun
