Re: Not a "viable" pregnancy

I'm so sorryChat Icon . I know exactly what you are going through. I also had a miscarriage..8/19/05. I was 5 1/2 weeks pregnant. It's so tough but you will get through it. My Gyn's office was of no help. The first day I started spotting I called the office and left a message with the answering service, they said they would get in touch with my doctor and have her call me back..Well 3 hours went by and I still hadn't gotten a call back so I called there again and spoke to the receptionist who told me to go lay down with my legs up because unfortunatly if I was having a M/C nothing could prevent it. Now I know thats true but I wanted to hear that from my doctor not the receptionist. Well, I spotted from Monday to Thursday and M/c'd on Friday. My numbers were never that high to begin with. My first HCG level was 19 then went up to 24 and then by saturday it was already down to 5. I bled for about 5 days a little heavier than my normal AF. I stll haven't gotten my period yet, and I'm hoping I don't. Chat Icon DH and I decided to start trying right away. If you have any questions please feel free to FM me. My heart goes out to you.

Re: Not a "viable" pregnancy

So sorry, I went through the same. Miscarried at 6 weeks in Feb, 2005. Had a D&C. It took my cycles a while to get back into sync as well as my and DH's emotions. We told our parents and one or two close friends. Then had to tell them what happened. It was a huge disappointment. You feel as if it won't happen again but I know that it will for all of us.Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon
