Women who wear HIGH heels....poll -

Do you actually find them comfortable?? Like you would rather walk around in them than in say flats??

It is just so beyond my comprehension...

I love them and wear them all day. I'm a teacher, so I'm literally wearing them all day too. My feet hurt at the end of the day, but only with a certain pair.

I wear them for a few reasons.

1-they make everything look better (outfit, my body)

2-I feel like flats are too casual sometimes, unless they are intricate.

3-My class responds to click, click, click of me walking.

I said I'm honestly comfortable in them. BUT I only wear comfortable high heels. If they aren't comfy, then it's not worth it to bust my feet for fashion.

I also think they make my legs look longer, sexier, but I couldn't choose two answers.


I would like to add that on the weekends, I'm more about comfort and run errands in flip flots or sneakers.

I love my heels and find that at the end of the day my feet can hurt more in flats.

But, like the above poster said, I try to find comfy heels.

I'm pretty comfortable in them, I'm also 5'2 with short legs so they help out in that area too!

I find them comfortable. I have more of an isse with the shape of a shoe ( too narrow) than the heel height)

Some flat hurt my feet, b/c my whole foot is flat on the floor--the heels take the pressure off the arch & heel.

I think the key is to find a shoe that works well with the natural arch of your foot--about 2 inches usually works for me.

I have to wear wide shoes, so most of the brands that make them specailize comfy shoes, like Hush Puppies, Naturalizer & Easy Spirit.

My Hush Puppy ankle strap pumps are more comfortable than some flats or sneakers. They are cushioned under the ball of the foot too.

Heels are also more versatile, b/c they look good with skirts & pants--flats look better with pants.

I love heels, but tend to wear the higher ones more if I go out at night or am getting dressed. I rarely wear them to work. I teach and am on my feet all day, so most of the times I wear flats, a smaller (kitten heel) type of shoe, or flip flops.

I'm all about fashion over function...even 8 months pregnant. Last night in the city I walked around in 3 inch heels. Was I comfortable? Hell no. I was in major pain....but it made me feel SO much better about myself, my outfit, etc., so I was willing to suffer.
