this past trip, the majority were nicer although the one in Rome was a dump and it had bed bugs

Different. There is no place like home but I do like to stay at hotels that have great amenities that I do not have at my house. If my house looked like the hotels in Hawaii, I'd invite you all over for a fun time and to show it off.

well something bit us and it stopped once we put the cover on the bed.
my daughter had the most marks.

It depends. Generally, I am not picky. As long as it's clean, I don't care if I am just sleeping there. If I'm looking for a resort, I want it to be really nice.
