Is anyone willing.....
Hi ladies, I'm sorry I haven't checked in since I let you know that my twins are NOT monoamniotic....I am such a lurker!!
Anyway...I was wondering if anyone is willing to share their registry with me...I've done a lot of research but would like to see what I am missing.
Also, I am trying to decide between the snap-n-go and the duo-glider. Which one do you think is better? I like the idea of the duo glider still being useful without the infant seats in it, but I'm also assuming that it is a really heavy stroller. What are your opinions?
THanks for the expert advice!!

I never had the duolgider, but I had the snap and go and loved it.
About the registry: just think two! Some stuff I got doubles but returned one. My advice now at 7 months old, get lots of bibs. I never have enough.

Definitely get the sanp and go. I used it up until they twins were 9 months old and LOVED it! They are in the duoglider or their double umbrella stroller, but htey are both much heavier and not as convenient.

Yes...but i was thinking so that later on, once they were out of their infant seats, I wouldn't have to purchase a duo-gllider. But 9 months is a long way away before I would have to think about it......

Re: Is anyone willing.....
I had the duoglider from the beginning - LOVE IT - yes it is heavy but manageable.
As far as registry I don't really remember mine but I do remember I asked for 2 of
infant to toddler rocker - love them, still using them at 19 months.
2 boppy pillows
2 infant car seats 2 regular car seats 2 high chairs - I actually wanted the space saver ones that go right on the regular chairs.LOVE THEM
as far as swings, exersaucers and jumperoos - I only asked for 1 of each - i didn't find it necessary to have 2.
and yes tons and tons of bibs!

Re: Is anyone willing.....
don't waste $ on the wipes warmer...
2 convertible carseats 2 infant carriers snap-n-go is a MUST - It made life easier. I have the duoglider - not a big fan - get a double stroller you think you'll use SWINGS - 2 - you can even get the travel sized ones. a BIG playmat for them both to lie on this is a GREAT one that a lot of twin moms love.
Zip top sheets are a lifesaver. You can change their sheets in about 30 seconds and without lifting the matress out of the crib. They sell them at BBB.

Re: Is anyone willing.....
I agree with everyone else...you will need the snap and go as well as a stroller. I like the Duoglider but the only downside is that it is heavy.

don't forget about a roomy diaper bag. You need to fit food, toys, change of outfit, and bottles for 2 babies. You will need more room than you may realize. I have heard good things about the duo by skip hop. I have the single and LOVE it.

Re: Is anyone willing.....
I tried the duoglider today and decided not to get it. We brought my friends two children. They are only 10 months apart and OMG, I thought it was really hard to handle. Living in NYC, this would be very difficult for me do on a daily basis.
We decided to get the snap & go (I think they are great) and the Peg Perego Twin Aria.

Those are the two we have & I love them both. The snap and go is so convienient when the babies are still in their infant car seats. The Aria is so light and it moves so smoothly! I love it. I haven't tried to go shopping with it yet, I use it to take walks in the neighborhood. I am not sure if it will be a problem getting around in certain stores...I guess I will find out soon enough.

Re: Is anyone willing.....
My twins are only two months old so...
I agree the snap and go is a must. We use ours everyday.
I agree with what the others have said. Definitely... 2 boppies 2 bouncy seats 2 cribs (obviously)
If you want to get a glider make sure the arms are padded or get one of the ones that looks like an upholstered chair. Makes it easier to hold both of them at the same time.
Burp cloths... lots and put them in a few rooms of the house.
Bibs... lots in different sizes so you have them as their necks grow.
I couldn't live w/o my Duo Skip Hop diaper bag.
I have the DuoGlider. I really did not want a side-by-side. I'm not sure if the weight will be an issue, I'm used to getting a wheelchair out of the trunk (occassionally) for my Dad to use so any stroller in comparison is light weight.
If you are planning to formula feed... lots and lots of bottles. I wouldn't bother with the 4 oz ones as they outgow them pretty quickly. Just get full sized 8 oz. If you don't want to wash them all day and want to make all of you bottles in one batch... there are roughly 8 feedings per day times 2 and I'd add on at least two additional bottles so you need 18-20.
HTH.
