brownies from scratch

Someone asked me to post this, I forget who (sorry!). But this is my family's recipe and they are sooooooo delicious!!! They always get lots of raves when I make them.

BROWNIES:

2 squares unsweetened chocolate (in the baking aisle at the grocery store, in an orange box)
1/2 C butter
Melt over low heat. Cool. (I usually don't have time to cool it, and it still tastes yummy!)

2 eggs
1 C sugar
Beat light at medium speed.

1 tsp vanilla
Add to egg mix along with chocolate mixture.

3/4 C flour
1/2 tsp baking powder
1/4 tsp salt
Mix in.

Place in greased 8x8 pan and bake for 25-30 min at 350. Enjoy!

i made the brownies last night. i cooked them for 35 minutes thinking they werent cooked through- so they were a bit caky
but still delicious!
