All Inclusives?
My mom wants to go away next Easter week with my sister, brother, DH and me. She would prefer an all inclusive but not Sandals or Beaches as they are too expensive. She came up with Secrets in Punta Cana as one idea, does anyone know of any others that are nice but aren't too pricey or for couples only? TIA!

Re: All Inclusives?
I just got back from Montego Bay Jamaica, it was beautiful! We stayed at an all inclusive called Wyndham Rose Hall....highly recommended it!

Re: All Inclusives?
I stayed at a RIU in Paradise Island. Definately a lot cheaper then Sandals. They have resorts all over.

Re: All Inclusives?
Years ago my girlfriends and I went to the Bahamas. We stayed at the Nassau Beach Hotel. There were 7 different restaurants to choose from. We had three meals a day, unlimited drinks, certain water activities were included and the hotel was right on the beach.

Re: All Inclusives?
We stayed at Aventura Spa Palace for our honeymoon last Sept in the Mayan Riviera. and it was wonderful! I don't know whether it is exclusively couples only there, but I can't remember seeing kids around while we were there. The prices are better than Sandles as well. Good luck!

Re: All Inclusives?
Just got back from Secrets Excellence in Mexico and think it would be a great place for your family. I think the one in Dominican Republic is supposed to be very similar.

Adventura is one of many Palace Resorts in Mexico, it is the only one that is adults only though. We are going to the Moon Palace on our honeymoon, but there are a ton of them if you look at their website!

Re: All Inclusives?
The Iberostars in the Riveria Maya area are beautiful. RIU's are also nice (there are 2 nice ones in Negril, Jamaica). The Wyndham Rose Hall in Montego Bay is nice too!

Re: All Inclusives?
There are other all inclusives in Punta Cana that are cheap. We stayed at melia Caribe, and I heard the Occidental is nice too.

Re: All Inclusives?
I have done the Iberostars (2 of them) in DR - Punta Cana and Puerta Plata - Punta Cana was newer and nicer. The Iberostar Bavarro was adults only when I went. I like that chain and the ones in Mexico are suppose to be great.
I went to Aventura Spa Palace and enjoyed that - it was probably the best all-inclusive I went to and it is adults only.
I also went to the Paradisus in Costa Rica which was very nice as well.

We went to Royal Hideaway for our HM and it was awesome! The food was incredible! Search LIW - I've posted several reviews.
