Formula question
I don't post here very often but I don't know what to do and hope you guys can help!
DD is on Good Start formula. She is what the ped called a "happy spitter"...she spits up a lot, after every feeding and it seems like a ton. It doesn't seem like she's in pain and she's gaining weight, but I'm wondering if I should try a different formula?? We started with Similac at the hospital, but it didn't agree with her so I switched to Good Start b/c I had luck with it with DS. Last weekend I tried this new formula Similac R.S.- it has rice in it for babies who spit up a lot but she was crying like I've never seen before after a few feedings. Should I try something else??? Like Enfamil Gentelease or Similac Sensitive? I don't want to keep switching her, but I don't know what else to do.

Re: Formula question
We use Gentlease and it works great! I would recommend you switch. Is it possible she is getting too much at a feeding? Maybe feed her less oz more often.

Re: Formula question
I'd leave her be. Some kids just spit up a lot. I know you know from past experience that there are MUCH worse infant behaviors!

I agree. My daughter always spit up, but was fine...quite possibly she was getting just a tad too much formula, but not enough that I could ever realize or control it. She used Good Start because ALL varieties of Similac made her sick/gassy/miserable.
